摘要：This special collection of articles addresses the gap between research and practice in language education and responds to the call for initiatives aimed at strengthening the nexus between research and practice in and for the context of language teacher education. In this introductory article, we discuss the background of this collection, provide an overview its achievements, and outline the steps needed to enhance the nexus of research and practice within the context of language teacher education.
